I was just wondering, what did you guys think of the game? Im thinking of buying it, only because of the Halo 3 demo key. But i also want to know if its really worth the money.

Renting it wont get me the Halo 3 Beta key.

Yeah, its a lot of fun.  I spent upwards of 20 hours with it easily, between co-op and single player.  The achievements are among the most fun of any game (though i did give up on a few).  My recommendation?  Don't rush through the game.  Defeat a few bosses and then mess around, rinse and repeat.

Now I'm pretty bored with the game, but looking forward to upcoming DLC that should be pretty cool based on some speculation from the developer.

Oh, and there's a Halo 3 multiplayer beta or something coming later too.

Did you hear what you just said?  This is HALO 3! and in three weeks that's about 504 possible hours of gameplay

There is no key for the Halo 3 beta. All you need is the disc and a live connection to either download the beta or just to play as it is a multiplayer demo.

 Again, no key for the Halo 3 beta.

You could hire it out on the day the H3 beta is released.

I personally got into the H3 Beta before I bought Crackdown, but I played the demo of it and loved it, so I bought it (remembering not for the H3 beta.)

I personally like it, I love it online with a friend though.  Funner than Gears co-op online, IMO.  All you need is a imagination.  

I don't think the H3 beta comes with it anymore.. I think that was just for a short time period to sell the game quicker.. but it's a great game nonthelessbudorz

The place I work has around 6 crackdowns left all with the beta marks.  But tbf I think thats because they have not sold. ;) 

If you REALLY want to play the Halo 3 Beta then but it but the game itself is a short and doesn't even have 1000 Gamerscore points.lvin5992

The missing gamerscore will come out as a extra free download mission to make it up to 1000.  The extra 250 gamerscore will be download mission but i don't know if they are chanrging for this.

Don't buy the damn game just because of the Halo 3 Beta...buy the game if you like it.

People are expecting this beta to be Halo 3 in all its glory when it is just a short play-run to see if Bungie can handle a lot of players at once.

Theres no point in getting so worked up. First off, its gonna have something like 2 maps. Second its a BETA. Some people need to show some patience. Anyone who buys Crackdown just to get the halo beta is quite possibly retarded
